ELITE SPORTS AND ARTS

Elite Sports and Arts is a special program designed for high-level athletes and recognized performing artists looking to fulfill their dreams and pursue college studies in a quality program. This program balances academic requirements with the demands elite sports and arts students face in developing their talents.

Admission Criteria

Sports

  • Trains at least 10 hours per week on average
  • Is an elite performer at the provincial level in his or her sport
    • For individual sports: Ranked in the top 20 provincially in the 2nd year of his or her age category or in the top 40 in the 1st year
    • For team sports: The admission criteria are specific to each sport (e.g., Midget Espoir or AAA for hockey, member of the Québec provincial team in soccer, etc.)
  • Demonstrates self-reliance and a keen sense of responsibility
  • Maintains an overall average above 70% (all subjects) without failing any subject
  • Meets a certain number of criteria to be accepted by the selection committee

The Arts

  • Dedicates at least 10 hours per week to his or her artistic endeavours
  • Practises in a recognized artistic field
  • Demonstrates self-reliance and a keen sense of responsibility
  • Maintains an overall average above 70% (all subjects) without failing any subject
  • Meets a certain number of criteria to be accepted by the selection committee

Application for admission to the Elite Sports and Arts program

Students wishing to join the Elite Sports and Arts program must complete the form and submit the indicated documents to Rachel Gendron.
